Two cardenolides from Calotropis procera

Abstract

Two cardiotonic glycosides were isolated from Calotropois procera: one of them (1) is a new natural product. Their structures were elucidated by extensive application of one- and two-dimensional 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
