The application of network science in the field of dynamical systems has enabled a set of powerful tools that were introduced in this book. The typical structural motifs were determined for reaching more reliable results. The effect of these motifs on the number of driver and sensor nodes was also analysed. As the decreased number of inputs and outputs results in a higher relative degree, five methods were proposed to improve the operability performances by placing additional driver and sensor nodes to the system. A workflow for systematic analysis of dynamical systems and an open-source toolbox were also introduced to support the application of the presented methods. In this chapter, a summary of the book is given.
