Abstract

The quantities used of glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic materials has grown at an accelerated pace as compared to the average speed of development of plastics industry. Based on publications that have appeared during last years in technical literature, the paper summarizes and systematizes the actual knowledge in respect of the relations between structure and breakage mechanical behaviour of injection-moulded pieces of glass-fibre reinforced plastic materials. Bibliographic data of some 200 pertaining publications are being enumerated.
