Rapidity and pseudorapidity asymmetries are investigated in pA in dAu collisions in close-to-midrapidity regions, y , η ≤ 1.5. Results obtained from our pQCD improved parton model calculations on neutral pion spectra are compared to pion data from FNAL-E706 measurement at √sNN = 30.7 GeV and data on unidentified charged hadrons from STAR experiment at √sNN = 200 GeV. This comparison allows us to study the strength of nuclear scattering and shadowing effects in the close-to-midrapidity region.
