Abstract

The authors have studied the switching action in vanadium phosphate glasses by measuring the temperature dependence of the conductance in different memory on-states. The experimental results are discussed in terms of the thermal model. The role of crystallites of various vanadium oxides in the formation of the conductive channel is emphasized.
