Neutron polarization investigations of high temperature superconductors

Abstract

The results of neutron polarization experiments on high temprature super­conductors (HTSC) obtained in the course of the last five years are reviewed. This techique provides direct observation of the magnetic field distribution in a sample and gives new interesting information about static and dynamic properties of HTSCs. The results of recent investigations of YBaCuO ceramics at temperatures around Tc and external magnetic fields up to 5 kOe performed at the high flux pulsed reactor IBR-2 in Dubna are reported.
