Abstract

We have synthesized differently crosslinked derivatives from poly-acrylic and poly-gamma-glutamic acids with diamines, and investigated the properties of the polymers produced by NMR spectroscopy, size exclusion chromatography (SEC), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The size of the crosslinked polymers decreases proportionately with the degree of crosslinking, probably due to the lower thermal mobility of the polymer chains and the smaller degree of solvation.
