Abstract

3H benzpyrenel17w10=synthesis introduced in Xenopus embryo displays both cytoplasmic and nuclear localization and persists there for a considerable period. The hydrocarbon spreads from the site of introduction very quickly. Its accumulation in the nucleus is demonstrable in the striated muscle cells.
