Abstract

Electrochemical detection is shown to have the potential to be applied to an even wider range of techniques and conditions. It is useful in ion chromatography for detecting both electroaactive and electroinactive ions. Carbon paste electrodes may be suitable for work at high concentrations of organic solvent and sample clean-up can sometimes be simplified without a substantial decrease in performance.
