Abstract

The stoichiometric dissociation constants of seven dibasic acids were determined in four alcohols by potentiometric titration; it was assumed that the acidic and neutral salts dissociate completely. A linear relationship was found between the pK1.2 values of dibasic acids in water and those in alcohols.
