Effects of potassium on the chemisorption of CO2 and CO on the Pd(100) surface

Abstract

It has been found that preadsorbed potassium dramatically affects the adsorption behaviour of CO2 and CO on Pd(100) surface. In increases the rate of adsorption, the binding energy of CO2 and CO and it induces the dissociation of CO2.
