Proton and deuteron induced nuclear reactions for generation of the 103Pd parent 103Ag were investigated using the stacked-foil activation technique on natural palladium targets up to E p = 37.3 MeV and Ed = 20.5 MeV, respectively. Excitation functions are reported for the first time for the reactions natPd(p, xn)103Ag and natPd(d, xn)103Ag.
