Continuous jet penetration of solid materials

Abstract

A theory that analytically described the penetration of a wide range of solid materials by high velocity continuous water jet was presented. During the modelling the equations of hydrodynamic forces for a control volume were applied. Results showed that velocity of water was high compared to the penetration rate.
