Wigner-type symmetries and their extensions in nuclear physics

Abstract

Wigner's work on the SUST (4) symmetry inspired the introduction of many other symmetries in nuclear physics. Here the concept of dynamically broken) symmetry (like SUST (4:)) is reviewed, with some examples from nuclear clusterization.
