Using the P-GRADE grid portal in the SEE-GRID project

Abstract

This paper describes the P-GRADE Grid Portal adaptation to the LHC Computing Grid infrastructure within the framework of the SEE-GRID project. It gives a short description of the SEE-GRID project and its EGEE Grid middleware based test-bed for which the single entry point is the P-GRADE Grid Portal. This portal will be used as an MIMC Grid portal that enables the simultaneous access of several Grids providing interoperability between the Grids connected to the portal. The paper describes the main features and functionalities of the portal and explains how the portal is going to be adapted to the LCG-2 middleware. Furthermore, the paper describes the execution of an air pollution application on the established SEE-GRID test-bed.
