Abstract

Results of arterial and venous blood gas and acid-base analysis obtained by needle puncture of ovarian artery and vein during obstetrical operations were reviewed for 48 cats anaesthetized with ketamine-xylazine. Acid-base and blood gas values of our samples were close to those obtained by catheterization.
