Abstract

The Ohlenschlaeger and Ulbrich uric acid load test was applied to 27 patients with urolithiasis and 10 healthy subjects. The test was found to reveal latent hyperuricemia, and accordingly may prove valuable for the diagnosis of urolithiasis and the monitoring of the effects of treatment.
