Abstract

The IBR-2 reactor is the world's most powerful pulsed neutron source. The advantages of the IBR-2 reactor may be most fully revealed at cold neutron wavelengths. This contribution presents data on the parameters of the reactor today and in the near future. A brief description of the reactor instrumentation for physical research is given.
