The mass transfer streams are defined considering the mass transfer resistance of the phase delivering the component, and a chemical reaction following the mass transfer. In this way it is possible to investigate the influence of the quotient of the physical mass transfer coefficients and the capacities of the phases as well as of the mixture ratio and the number of transferred units on the mass transfer in the range of intermediate reaction rates. The obtained results (concentrations) are compared to those ones calculated by a model by Pavlica and Olson.
