The Two-Loop logarithms for higher excited S levels were investigated. It was observed that the processes mediated by two low-energy photons contributed quite significantly to the energy of hydrogenic S states. It was also observed the approach to the higher excited S states, which in contrast to the 1S and 2S states could decay to P states via the electric-dipole channel. It was found that in addition to the calculation of the excited-states two-loop energy shift, the ambiguity in the energy level definition was also investigated due to squared decay rates.
