Towards the measurement of charged hadron spectra in CMS

Abstract

The CMS experiment will provide good quality measurements of yields and spectra of identified charged and neutral particles, thus contributing to the study of soft hadronic physics at the LHC energies. The methods and tools necessary for producing charged hadron spectra in proton-proton collisions at √s = 14 TeV are discussed.
