Toroidal transport of injected aluminum in the MT-1M tokamak

Abstract

Aluminum atoms are injected into the edge of the MT-1M tokamak plasma by the laser blow-off method. The Al+ and Al+ ions are observed only around the injected beam. The higher the degree of ionization, the larger the toroidal dispersal is. The Al3+ ions are already diffused all around the periphery of the tokamak plasma along the flux tube, where the first Al+ ions were deposited, with changing time distribution depending on the distance from the position of the injection.
