Three-dimensional structure as determined by X-ray studies

Abstract

As for other proteins, the three-dimensional fold of the polypeptide chain of PGK at high resolution has been determined by X-ray crystallography, and later NMR investigations have provided consistent results. Crystal structure of PGK has been solved already at the very early stage of protein crystallography and at the time of writing this review more than a dozen of independent PGK structures have been published.
