Abstract

The chemical effect on Kβ2/Kα x-ray intensity ratios for Mo and Tc compounds was calculated with the discrete-variational Xα molecular orbital method. The calculated results are in qualitative agreement with the experimental values following radioactive decay of Tc isotopes.
