In 6 of a total of 217 patients with subarachnoid haemorrhages caused by the rupture of an aneurysm multiple aneurysms were found. The questions of diagnosis and therapy are discussed and the necessity is emphasised to carry out panangiography in case of subarachnoid haemorrhages and to try and exclude all aneurysms from the circulation.
