Abstract

The value of the activation entropy describing the formation of the configuration of a transition complex takes in first approximation the same value for analogous reactions. In finer approximation the material differences in atoms composing the complex and the influences of neighbouring atoms or atom groups must be taken into account. The activation and reaction entropy values for decomposition reactions are collected in Tables.
