The ratio of the φ and J Ψ meson yields in heavy ion collisions

Abstract

It is suggested that the formation of a quark-gluon plasma in relativistic heavy-ion collisions may reveal itself in the azimuthal asymmetry of the ratio of the GF and J Ψ meson yields which can be measured using RICH-type detectors.
