Abstract

The PCA - INCREMENT MEMORY interface is described which provides communication between an analog processor and the IBM PC-XC - AT computer; storaged ≈16 millions of events which code is an adress of a memory cell (its content is incremented or decremented); access to the memory during storage. Memory capacity is 4096×24 bits, storage time (one increment) at computer generator frequency of 4.77(6) MHz is 1.05(0.83) μs. The interface is a port of multichannel analyzers and can replace some CAMAC analyzer units. The interface is fabricated as a standard IBM PC printed circuit.
