Abstract

The authors determined the carbohydrate fractions of the glycoproteids in the lymph, flowing away from the liver. Every glycoproteid fraction is lower in the lymph than in the serum. The protein-bound hexose is 64.5%, the hexosamine 41.4%, the sialic acid 53%, the fucose 74.2% of the value in the serum. On nonspecific effect - similarly to the glycoproteid fractions of the serum - the lymph-glycoproteids show an increase as well. The degree of the rise of the fractions was different.
