The method of Wintersberger et al. was used to study the cystine-aminopeptidase (CAP=oxytocinase) activity of the ejacultate in 106 cases. The activity per ml was in general several hundred times higher than in human serum. Substantially higher values were obtained in cases of hypospermia and normospermia than in oligospermia and aspermia. Diagnostically valuable difference was found neither in the mobility of the sperm nor in its CAP activity.
