Abstract

The development of the ISOPHOT pipeline software from pre-launch through to the generation of the ISO Legacy Archive is described. Some results from the final version of the software used to generate the products for the Archive are presented. An overview is also given of the scientific validation of the pipeline data products for ISOPHOT. Finally, the merits of a database generated from an automated pipeline and some lessons learned in the development of the software are discussed.
