The infrared spectrum of dideuteroketene below 620 cm-1

Abstract

The infrared spectra of the ν9, ν6, and ν5 bands of D2CCO have been studied at 203 K and at a resolution of ca. 0.08 cm-1. Improved values for the ground state A and DK constants have been obtained from a ground state combination difference analysis on ν6. A global upper state analysis taking into account first-order a-Coriolis interactions and two local second-order interactions yields spectroscopic constants for each of the excited vibrational states. A preliminary study of ν8 is also presented.
