Abstract

The activation method is applied to the determination of the 2200 m.s.−1 (n,γ) cross sections (0) for the reactions 184Os(n,γ) 185Sm(n,γ)155 Sm and 153Eu(n,γ) 154Eu. The results of these experiments, together with a critical literature survey, demonstrate the importance of reporting the input parameter data for (isotopic abundance), γ (absolute gamma intensity) and T (half life), which are strictly associated with the σ0‐output.
