Abstract

The paper describes the flora of Tihany-Feherpart (faciostratotype of the Intra-Carpathian Pontian), West Hungary, based on leaf-impressions. The leaves belong to angiosphermous families, viz. Hammamelidaceae, Platanaceae, Betulaceae, Ulmaceae, Juglandaceae, Salicaceae, Smilacaceae and Cyperaceae. The flora indicates prevalence of warm temperate climate during its deposition. -Author
