Abstract

The first Hungarian airborn hyperspectral remote sensing campaign, made in the frame of the international Hysens 2002 program, was carried out on 17-18 August 2002 in North-East Hungary. The main output was a set of hyperspectral data cubes from the DAIS sensor at 6m/pixel spatial, 79 band spectral resolution. This paper presents how the campaign was organized and realized and it summarizes the various results from the analysis of these hyperspectral data cubes. The paper deals in more detail with analysis of deciduous forest spectra in the Recsk area (Mátra Mtn).
