Abstract

Production of the trypsin-alpha-1-antitrypsin complex in acute pancreatitis was studied by means of two-dimensional immunoelectrophoresis. The complex was found to appear a few hours after the first clinical manifestations and to be demonstrable for 3 to 4 weeks. The diagnostic possibilities of the method are discussed.
