Abstract

Current trends in Future Internet, 3D Internet and Internet of Things are highlighting the possibility that virtual spaces will be available in the near future for the creation of mixed virtual/physical collaboration spaces and cyber-physical systems which can be shared among users at different geographical locations. Based on these trends, the talk covers some related topics of system control via case studies performed using the VirCA (Virtual Collaboration Arena) platform.
