Abstract

The partially or fully methylated cyclodextrins reveal some unexpected properties: anomalous solubility properties (very soluble in cold water, but crystallizes on heating), through forming water-soluble inclusion complexes, excellent solubilizing capacity for a series of sparingly soluble substances.
