Surface energy from the order parameter profile at the QCD phase transition

Abstract

The order parameter profile between coexisting confined and plasma regions at the QCD phase transition is constructed. The dimensionless combination of the surface energy (σ) and the correlation length (ξ) is estimated to be σξ3≈1.0(2).
