Abstract

Intramitochondrial inclusions found in human pathological liver (Gilbert's disease) have been studied using a goniometric stage. It is shown that the 'point like' or 'filamentous' images depend on the position from which the inclusion is observed. The inclusion is described as a composite macromolecular crystal; the repetitive element is globular and measures 110-120 Å.
