Abstract

Quantitative data have been obtained for the natural oxide and the passive films formed on Ni-6% Mo(100) and (110) alloys. Single crystals of Ni-6 at.% Mo alloy were used. The samples were analyzed with beams of light ions around Mev, using Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS), or nuclear reaction analysis (NRA), and taking into benefit the anisotropy channelling effects.
