Solubility of calcium carbonate was measured in pilot plant containing model solution (water - calcium carbonate - carbon dioxide) as function of pressure, temperature and time. The measured values were compared to a computer generated model. The parameters influencing both scaling and corrosion and the indexes used in practice are discussed.
