The properties of Green's functions and various correlation functions of density and spin operators in a homogeneous spin-1 Bose gas in different phases, were discussed. It was observed that by treating the regular polarization contributions as perturbations, damping was obtained for a number of modes determined first in the Bogoliubov approximation. The analysis showed that the formalism was used to give two approximations for the propagators and the correlation functions and the spectra of excitations including shifts and widths due to the thermal cloud.
