Structure of magnetic noise in dynamic fracture

The structure of magnetic noise in dynamic fracture was discussed. It was observed that the novel features of the dynamic fracture includes the distribution of the voltage signals of the spectra and the areas and energies of voltage peaks exhibited a power law behavior. It was also observed that the value of the exponents of the distributions proved to be characteristic for the failure mode. It was found that the magnetic crackling noise accompanying impact fracture had a invariant structure which revealed new aspects of dynamics of the fracture process.
