Structural hierarchies, theta rhythm, hippocampal function

Abstract

The connection between different structures being at different hierarchical level of the cortico-hippocampal formation and their functional role is discussed. At least three different functions, code generation, mood regulation and navigation is being integrated into a coherent conceptual framework.
