Status of the database for production of medical radioisotopes of 103 Pd 123, 124I, 201TI by Using Rh, Te and Tl targets

Abstract

Databases for production of 103Pd, 201T1 radioisotopes and medical radioisotopes of iodine are presented including about 50 excitation functions for the main production routes and for disturbing reactions. The status of the experimental data is reviewed. The compilation is illustrated on the 103Rh(p, n)103Rh reaction. The application of the database on the production of123I using a deuteron beam and enriched 122Te targets results in computation of practical production yields and impurity levels.
