Abstract

The theory of stationary lattice defects developed for classical elasticity is generalized to micropolar elastic materials. The treatment is based on the concept of elastic multipoles. Special microelastic multipoles are introduced which make it possible to derive uniformly the quantitative properties of the different types of defects.
