Some problems in the rehabilitation of persons with congenital disorders

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

As a result of the advances in medical science, an increasing percentage of those suffering from congenital disorders may be rehabilitated. From the point of view of rehabilitation, however, the specificity, the time and the nature of therapeutic interventions is of fundamental importance. In this respect, a certain backwardness may be noted in Hungary, in which the insufficiency of hygienic education and medical information, as well as organizational problems, may play a role.
