Soliton-like dynamic gratings in photorefractive Four-wave mixing

Abstract

Four-wave mixing with non-local gratings is described by the sine-Gordon equation that governs soliton propagation. Photoinduced grating has soliton-like shape depending on input intensity ratio. Experimental study of soliton profile is provided in a specially developed set-up.
