Abstract

The computer simulation of an adiabatic stationary operating contact catalytic reactor for exothermic reactions is investigated, with consideration to the effect of the grain size distribution along the catalyst bed. The optimization of the problem is discussed and several characteristics of such reactors are pointed out.
